Professional Engineering worked with the Dodge County Housing Authority (DCHA) on the development civil engineering plans for 20 three-bedroom duplex units in Horicon, Wisconsin. The development will fulfill a significant need for energy efficient, well located and reasonable priced housing in Dodge County. All plans and specifications were prepared in such a way as to warrant a Wisconsin Green Built Home Standard score of 150 or more or to the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria.

The project includes a 36-Unit & 64 Unit apartment buildings in the first phase and 94 Units in the second phase with underground and surface parking. Our firm designed the erosion control, storm water management, grading, parking layout, and utilities for this project.

Professional Engineering, LLC, completed the civil engineering plans and specifications for this redevelopment project. The Galaxie is a mixed-use property with both commercial space (including a Festival Foods Grocery Store and parking structure) on the first three floors and apartments on 11 floors above. Professional Engineering worked closely with the City of Madison and The Architect on this project. Improvements were made to both Paterson Street and E. Washington Avenue to accommodate the development. Professional Engineering was responsible for the Grading Plan, Erosion Control Plan, Utility Plan, and Site Details.
